TRUMP: "A PART OF IT WAS IRAN"
President Trump acknowledged Wednesday that the war with Iran contributed to the Republican losses in Tuesday's midterms.
π€ Speaking to Fox News:
"I think a part of it was Iran."
β½ He pointed to higher gasoline prices, saying voters were not willing to accept those short-term costs.
π€ He also gave rare credit to his opponents:
"I think the Democrats did a good job, I really do."
Trump said he was "a little bit surprised" by the results β and, per Fox News, vowed to veto what he called "insane" Democratic bills.
